This collection evokes the warm rich palette and playful magic of a trip abroad. Flowers are growing wild off a dusty path, shaped by the breeze and rugged landscape.
Imperfect loose lines appeared on the pages of my sketchbook - some big jagged motions of my hand creating robust yet soft flower shapes. First flooded with my signature clay, pink and terracotta tones, I then added a sprinkle of sweet faded rose pink and bolts of chocolate.
My hand-painted textures have been woven into these works more than ever before, with their raw natural state bringing depth and soul to each piece.
‘Rosa’ meaning ‘pink’ in Italian perfectly personified the faraway exotic feel of this collection.
