STUDIO MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Studio Manager

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent Part Time

HOURS: 3-4 days a week, school hours, flexible

key duties and responsibilities 

  • order fulfillment
    • all incoming orders reviewed and sent to print
    • all artwork for new orders to be assigned edition numbers
    • shipping labels created for all new orders or as needed
    • managing workflow for any orders that are urgent or have any additional requirements – communicating with dispatch team, printer and framer where need be
    • being main point of contact for dispatch team – assist with clarifying order details or communicating messages to printer or framer when required
    • proactive with contacting customer if order needs clarification
  • website maintennance
    • stock quantities kept up to date on website
    • creating new product listings for new collections
    • keeping wholesale and trade discounts up to date when new collections launch
    • communicating key dates or sales on the website when needed
    • identifying any additional communication needed on the website or notifications to bring awareness or confidence to the customer 
  • customer service
    • ensuring general enquiries are answered and support given to all customers
    • following up customers as needed
    • providing quotes for custom sizes
    • assisting with putting an order through if required
  • manage wholesale and trade accounts
    • main point of contact for all enquiries
    • assessing qualification for an account
    • account set up on the website
    • ordering assistance and follow ups
  • general office duties
    • managing general office/dispatch supplies and ordering as needed
    • maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
    • general assisting for miscellaneous events as they occur
    • assisting with photoshoot planning including securing product loans, booking photographer, location and hire vehicles

 

knowledge, skills and abilities

  • general knowledge of MS Suite and ability to quickly learn new programs
  • exposure to shopify or ecommerce website backend an advantage but not essential
  • experience with Mac
  • highly organised and ability to manage multiple work fronts at once
  • great attention to detail and ownership of systems and processes
  • customer focussed and professional internal and external communicator
  • great interpersonal skills and ability to work with different types of people
  • proactive in completing tasks with a focus on continuous improvement

 

ALSO

  • applications are open now, closing Friday 10 December
  • some experience days would be great this year, but the role will officially start at end of January 2022
  • the role is strictly for locals to the Geelong region only
  • must have a current drivers license
