How to hang an XL artwork (safely).

But first… let’s talk about how your XL artwork will arrive, and how to hang one properly.
These artworks are biggies! They require a little extra care during installation. Here’s what you need to know.
Designed for secure, professional hanging.
Your artwork will arrive without a wire or string across the back. Instead, it comes fitted with two D-Rings, one on each side of the frame — a method often used by professional framers for larger, heavier pieces.
Two hooks are essential.
These D-Rings are designed for direct, vertical hanging. That means you’ll need two hooks on your wall, one for each D-Ring. This method provides the best support and ensures the artwork sits flush and level. These are some hooks I have used as I like that they sit fairly flat to the wall and don't stick out too much. Please chat to your local hardware store about the best hooks to suit your wall.
Measure carefully.
The placement of the hooks is crucial. They need to be perfectly spaced to match the distance between the D-Rings on the frame. Use a tape measure and spirit level to mark out the hook positions at the correct height and width apart.
Why this method matters.
This style of hanging is the safest and most secure way to install larger artworks. It evenly distributes the weight, prevents slipping, and keeps the piece beautifully positioned — exactly where you want it.
